Interdisciplinary Symposium and Concert

“Collaboration in Research and Arts Practice”

This one-day symposium will incorporate a vibrant exchange between artists from visual art, film, architecture and music composition in collaboration with academic researchers. The symposium will discuss the theme of collaboration between research and arts practice, and will address how we can encourage the formation of interdisciplinary and intersectoral partnerships in Ireland. The event will conclude with an interview and performance by Ernst Reijseger, Dutch composer and cellist whose repertoire includes film collaborations with Werner Herzog and Martijn Maria Smits.
