Paula B. Garcia -Rosa

Paula B. Garcia-Rosa received the B.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2004, and the M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering and ocean engineering, respectively, from the COPPE/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2008 and 2013, respectively. From 2009 to 2013, she worked on Brazilian projects related to marine renewable energy for electricity production and in 2009-2010 she was an Assistant Lecturer with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Centre for Ocean Energy Research, Maynooth University, Maynooth, Ireland. Her research interests include automation and control of industrial processes, renewable energy technologies and modeling, optimization and control of ocean energy systems.
