Fiona Gannon

Fiona Gannon is an artist living and working in Dublin. She graduated from IADT in 2013 and was awarded Block T’s recent graduate award as part of their Fuel initiative. Fiona had a studio in Block T for 3 months, before going to Berlin to take up a 6 month internship at Studio Olafur Eliasson in their archive. She is now studying on the ARC MA at IADT and will graduate in 2016. Her work crosses between sculpture and performance and is concerned with the idea of contact. At the moment, this concern for the problem of contact has led her towards an interest in embodiment and some of the thinking associated with posthumanism.
